Abstract

Employees are probably the most important resource and asset for any organization. In the modern world the challenge of maintain work life balance is becoming increasingly important. With the advent of technology, especially mobile devices, an employee is no longer restricted to the desk.Now the employee is expected to be available round the clock through all technological means. BPO employees are also spared when it comes to encountering these challenges. As a result of which the present study has been undertaken aiming to highlight the leisure activities among Level – I BPO employees.Using simple random sampling technique 30 Level – I men BPO employees and30 Level - I women BPO employees were included in the study. The age range of the subjects was between 19-30 years. An exploratory design was adopted for the study. The Victoria Longitudinal Study Activities Questionnaire developed by Jopp& Hertzog (2010) is used to measure the Leisure activities among the employees, along with the Information Schedule prepared by the researcher. The obtained results revealed that men and women Level – I BPO employees do not differ in Leisure activities.
