Abstract

After 60 years, peoples are transferred in the group of silvers where they are unable to do the work like the younger generation (15-59 years). The elderly person of that group are facing several health problems in hilly area especially tribal elderly person suffering more in compare to non tribal elderly person as found in the study area. Because in hilly or rural area health facilities are not available and people are not habituated to avail the health services. Even they are not all aware about their health condition and reason behind the bad health. The study mainly focuses on the reason of health insecurity among elderly person in the rural or hilly area and it has found that if the younger generation are not pulling their support towards elderly persons then the health and mental status of elderly persons affected. On the other way it was also observed that the nutritional and clinical care needs of the elderly are better met with adequate income and for that the elderly persons need to be depend on their family members.
