Abstract

It is the urgent demand of the modern era to improve the socio – economic and political position of women to promote their potential roles in development. Investments in women’s agencies now have become crucial to achieve sustainable development. In India efforts are continue to improve the status and condition of women to achieve inclusive growth. Many programmes and policies are running to bring women within the overall development agenda and paradigm. The present research is conducted to achieve some objectives like: To explore socio – economic profile of respondents, To find out Reproductive health conditions of respondents, To explore the socio – economic profile of the respondents, To know the changes concerning to gender relations, To know the reproductive health conditions of the respondents, To find out the factors responsible for gender inequality, To explore the changing paradigms of gender inequality with reference to health, education and income, To investigate the challenges faced by the women in regards to their health, education and income, To analyses the socio – economic causes of maternal morbidity, maternal mortality incidents, To explore gender relations against the background of economic growth.
