Abstract
The Right to Information Act. 2005 is a law enacted by the Parliament of India to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens. It was passed on 15 June 2005 and came into force on 13 October 2005. It mandate timely response to citizens request for government information. The right to information is derived from fundamental rights of freedom of speech and expression under Art.19 (1) of the constitution of India, which also includes the right to access the information. It include information belongs not to the state but to the public civil right to know facts, the true facts about the administration of country along with the scheme and policies of government.
