Abstract

m-Governance is admitted as the next step and an advanced part of e-governance. NeGPmakes available all the public services and information within the reach of all people particularly the rural society. e-Governance faces problems in effective implementation due to technical reasons. The study contains objectives and vision of m-governance. Government of India tried to come close to the citizens and establish friendly relations with them so that the rural people could avail all the facilities or services which were far away from themtill now. The study is about how the m-governance channels are effective and Mobile Services Delivery Platforms are working effectively in different fields like education, health, banking etc. Significance and future of m-governance are also discussed. There are some challenges in implementation of m-governance effectively.
