Abstract

During the alien rule upto 1947, India remained backward and underdeveloped in comparison with other modern countries of the world. After independence we are free and our constitution guarantees full freedom to all citizens irrespective of color, caste, creed and sex. The government has enacted laws against untouchability and kind of social economic discrimination. India is a democratic socialistic republic country. It upholds welfare, social justice and equality to all based on brotherhood.
