Abstract

This paper is an attempt to analyze the powers assigned to the Russian State Duma constitutionally and the role it has practically played in the Russian political system. Moreover, this also looks into the relationship between the executive and the legislature; thereby, outlining contributions of the Duma in the policy-making and its limitations.
