Abstract

Higher education helps to gain good employment opportunities and earn handsome salary to lead a comfortable and secured life. Education shapes the behavior of the individuals and there by their own identity is created in the society. India stands in 125th position in terms of gender inequity. The reports also show that the female who have at least some secondary education is only 35.3% and in case of men it is 61.4% according to the Human Development Reports 2005 – 2015.
