Abstract

“Statistically it is safer to be on streets after dark with a stranger than at home in the bosoms of one’s family. It is there that accident, murder and violence are likely to so occur.” Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary , defines violence means exertion of any physical force for instance: (a)violent treatment and procedure. (b) Profanation infringement, outrage, assault. (c) strength, energy, activity displayed or exerted, vehement, forcible or destructive action or force. (d)vehemence in feeling , passion, order, furry, fervour. Infliction of injury on other people is the essence of violence. it may be either physical, or mental. On the legal level, it is illegal employment of methods of physical coercion for personal or group ends.
