Abstract: The 19th century has seen the emergence of a new genre in literature in the form of science-fiction with philosophical undertones. Space-oriented sci-fi has always attempted to prophesize conflict between mankind and extra terrestrial race, be it in War of the Worlds in the 19th century, Foundation in 20th or the Oscar winning movie Avatar in the 21st century. Today, with science and technology regulating every sphere of life, man realizes the need to save humanity from the murderous clutches of scientific advancements. The same need to save humanity is visible in Avatar when the inhabitants of Earth go to colonise the world of Pandora (for materialistic gains just as Britishers came to India) but, instead, are awed by the spiritual superiority of Pandorans and their harmony with nature.

There is an African proverb, if you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a family is well-known to all. The message here is that once we know the value of education for men in society, we should allow women to have equal access to it. In spite of certain outstanding examples of individual achievement of Indian woman and a definite improvement in their general condition over the last one hundred years, it remains true that our woman still constitute a large body of under - privileged citizens. Women of course do not form a homogenous group in class or caste terms. Nevertheless, they face distinctive problems that call for special attention. The Backward Classes Commission set up by the Government of India in 1953 classified women of India as a backward group requiring special attention.

GDP growth is considered to be very important economic measure to understand any country’s economic health. And it is considered while making policies and plans for the country. This parameter, without any doubt, is very important for various policy makers and planners but it is not sure that how much impact it has on stock market and its participants. It has been found in many of the researches that investors’ investment psychology is not rational. Investors base their decision on their own expectations. To succeed in branding you must understand the needs and wants of your customers and prospects. You do this by integrating your brand strategies through your company at every point of public contact. The American Marketing Association (AMA) defines a brand as a “name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers.

The Indian banking sector which came out of 2008 global financial crisis relatively unscathed has been underperformed since 2010-11 which is less because of the financial crisis but more because of domestic and other global factors. The asset quality of bankshave been deteriorated and the various prominent reasons are economic slowdown, inflation, indecisiveness of government at various levels, corruption and increase in the frequency of disasters. Gross NPAs and Net NPAs increased to 3.2 percent and 1.7 percent respectively for the year 2012-13. In terms of NPAs, private sector banks have done better than public sector banks as their NPA ratios are lower. Undoubtedly, public sector banks stand on different plane and a single ratio is not enough to judge their performance;Asthere are an arm of the state as they help in accomplishing social goals and furthering political agenda of government at various levels. Meaning of Cooperative Federalism Traditionally the federalism was more or less a dualistic polity "in which the federal and State governments. Pursued virtually independent courses of action during a period when government activity was in any case minimal". Federalism then consisted of "two separate federal and State stream flowing in distinct but closely parallel channels."
