Abstract
This paper focus on the five laws of library science of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan in the context of the web. The web provides a dynamic source of information for all kinds of users. These five laws of the web are applicable to the web resources as well as web services delivering to its user community. These laws analyze the vital characteristics of the web. Web resources and services can be evaluated by applying the five laws of the web.
