Abstract

This study is mainly focused on communication skills in English of Tribal students of Amarkantak (MP). Tribes are one of the diverse groups among the Indian population (Lakshmi and Paul, 2019). Schedule Tribe schooling has taken on special significance in the country's expected growth of its human capital. Education is important for social and economic growth, and the job opportunities are determined by the education level. Communication is a skill that requires a systematic and continuous process of speaking, listening and understanding, especially in English. Many individuals are born with the ability to communicate verbally, but we need to learn how to express well and connect efficiently. The abilities to observe other individuals and model our behavior on what we see and understand are speaking, listening and our ability to interpret verbal and nonverbal signs.
