Bertolt Brecht is one of the popular poets and also a playwright of the century. He is one among the world famous dramatists. He was a poet, playwright, an actor and also a director. Apart from all these his protagonist idealism and great concern for humanity made him an historical literay figure. Mainly he is popular as a playwright but his contribution as a poet is equally important. So the purpose of this article is to highlight his poetic life and his contribution to the world of literature as a poet.
