Abstract

“Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large”. According to the World Business Council, the underlying principles of CSR is that companies are expected to behave ethically and contributed to the economic development while development improving the lives of their workforce, their community and society at large. Today, CSR is an integral part of business strategy every company is responsible for treating its employees well.
