Abstract

We are all well aware that women were treated as mere slaves in the past, as they were and they are considered as weaker sex. Men used to keep them under thumb. They were not given any kind of freedom. They were kept within the four walls of the house as cattle. They were denied of all rights. Now the days are changed. Women are getting educated. They work as professionals equal to men. They are contributing to the economy of the Nation. Has this changed the condition of women..? Certainly not. Hence it is our responsibility is to think where are we lagging behind and what measures can be taken to improve the status of women.
