Abstract

People relied on their Smartphone for entertainment or online study throughout the lockout. Excessive Smartphone use can have a negative influence on human health and well-being. People's use of Smartphone increased during the lockdown compared to the prior lockdown period. Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, all institutions, industries, banks, and other organizations were shut down, and people were forced to stay at home. Sleep deprivation, brain tumors, hypertension, and visual difficulties, among other things, are all consequences of unmanaged and excessive Smartphone use. In this context, this study examines the excessive use of Smartphone among youth throughout the COVID-19 period, as well as their impact on health and wellbeing.
