Abstract

This research paper aims to impact of socio economic factors on the entrepreneurial activities of Rural Women Entrepreneurs and to indentify the various problems faced by the Rural Women Entrepreneurs. The data used in the study are primary in natures which have been collected through issue of structured questionnaire. A sample of 490 rural women entrepreneurs has been selected through Snowball sampling technique. Chi-square test and Ranking Methods are applied in analyzing the data. The study discloses that the development of woman entrepreneurs in general and Rural Women Entrepreneurs in particular, is an integral part of the economic development of India.
