Abstract

This exploratory article discusses the charm of theater and plays seen in the Kota region near Kundapura taluk. The socially relevant thoughts expressed in these plays and the regional idiosyncrasies have been described here. The article also reflects the fact that there is much scope to identify more such artists and bring them to the forefront.
