Abstract

In the modern professional world, a number of large companies have traded the classic rigid work environment for a casual atmosphere in hopes of increasing the inspiration and productivity. The traditional work pattern of a 'nine to five' full-time job no longer applies to many workers. Our changing work patterns provide flexible working conditions in many people's lives. This project study focuses on the changing patterns of work on various factors which affect employee job satisfaction including flexitime, work from home, friendly hierarchy pattern, self-work style and casual dress code. The study brings into light the overall impact changing patterns of work on job satisfaction of women employees in IT industry.
