Abstract

From time immemorial, the Tamil Country was governed not only by the dominant imperial monarchs but also by subordinate chieftains. Among the chieftains who played a significant role in medieval Tamil Country were an important line of rulers generally known as the Adigamans. The aim of this paper is to focus the glory of Vidugadalagiyaperumal of Tagadur, one of the rulers of this line.
