Abstract

The social view of health is not limited to the regular dominant biomedical model of health and illness or disease these days. It also involves the other aspects of health of human being such as social, environmental, economic, biological and gender factors. These all factors individually or combinedly influence health outcomes and quality of life. Women’s health can only be understood within the broader contexts in which women live and work.
