Abstract

In Kerala, most of the tribal hamlets are on and around the Western Ghats bordering Tamilnadu and Karnataka. They are the indigenous population having specific culture which is integrated to the nature. They are specifically skilled in various areas other than the mainstreamed population. As the people here and near the western ghat are specifically adapted towards their environment, their talents are unique and should be nurtured in a different way keeping in mind about respecting their rich culture and heritage. They lead life without hurting the nature and they possess deep knowledge about various types of flora and phona. They are courageous, kinesthetically intelligent, empathetic, innocent and trustworthy. Their experiences are very distinct and different from normal people.
