India has long been a backward and money-starved country, and small business owners, farmers, merchants, petty traders, women, rural residents, and craftsmen have all suffered as a result of this lack of cash. Due to a lack of collateral security, these divisions were also avoided by Indian commercial banks. As a result, the primary goal of developing the concept of "Cooperative Banks" was to integrate all of these hitherto untapped regions into the country's financial system. Such banks have aided the country's economic progress since their beginnings. Since its inception, they have set several milestones, assisting ordinary rural and urban Indians in feeling financially empowered and secure.
