Abstract

Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass have enjoyed eternal popularity not only due to the readership of the children, but more because of the adult interest in them. The source of interest for the grown-ups in these two books has been Carroll’s special use of the language.
