Domestic violence also known as domestic abuse or family violence is a violence that occurs in a domestic setting, mostly in a marriage or cohabitation. Domestic violence is frequently used as a reverse for intimate mate violence, which is committed by one of the people in an intimate relationship against the other person and can take place in connections or between former consorts or mates.
