Abstract

Being or Sat, which is sometimes informally translated as "existence," is a key idea in the philosophy. Each and every philosophy in the world has considered and contemplated over the problem of existence i.e. being in its own idiosyncratic way because of its significance. Being can be rendered as sat, bhāva, or astitva in Indian philosophical understanding.
