Abstract

This research paper examines the relationship between social behavior and social mobility among the scheduled classes (SCs) in Madhubani district, India. The scheduled classes have been historically marginalized and face limited opportunities for upward mobility. Social behavior, as a measure of social mobility has been studied through various indicators such as education, occupation, income, and access to resources.
