AN ANALYSIS OF WORLD FILM PRODUCTION DURING THE YEAR 2005-2009

Abstract

In today’s society, films reflect the image of the individuals, their mindset, responsiveness and attitude towards different problems and other objects available in the society. In the current paper, we have tried to identify different factors which helps in film production and tried to relate them with the growth of such industry during a five year period .i.e from 2005 to 2009.Various factors such as geographic and demographic distribution, average price tickets, and film genres were studied with the help of diagrams, charts from secondary sources. Also, data analysis was done on data obtained from UNESCO database.
