Abstract

Over the past two decades, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been a growth area in managerial practice and academic consideration, as companies pursue the strategy to advance their corporate reputation and goals. A popular CSR activity for many companies has been to enter into social alliance partnerships with Non-profit organizations. This research paper moves around developing an understanding about the corporate social responsibility (CSR), delving into its concept and finding out its scope taking the case study of the Sahara India Pariwar under Mr. Subrata Roy who has exemplified the sense of responsibility towards the upliftment of common masses and protection of the environment and development of the nation.
