Abstract

Adapting to current conditions is a necessary feature of any revolution but it can also lead to internal conflicts. But if one fails to adapt, the entire revolutionary movement could collapse. Both Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) and Mao Zedong (1893-1976) were strong leaders who were able to adapt to the existing situation and played a major role in the success of any uprising.
