Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the Study was to investigate physical fitness of sub-junior and junior footballer of Delhi in relation to speed and explosive power. Sub-junior and junior football team of Delhi were selected as subjects for this study. AAHPHER Test was used to measure physical fitness of the Footballers. Mean, Standard Deviation and `T` Test have been computed to compare the score of the groups on speed and explosive power. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant difference between Sub-junior and junior footballer of Delhi on speed and explosive power. Sub-junior footballer took more time in speed than Junior footballer and Junior footballer are much better in explosive power than Sub-junior footballer.
