Abstract

Abstract The management of stress has become an urgent strategy for Indian companies because of the alarming increase in the incidence of reported stress among employees in recent years and its impact on the bottom line. As techniques, procedures, and systems are becoming more and more complicated with the use of advance technology, stress has become unavoidable on the part of the employees. And what adds to this is the fact that every employee cannot cope with such rapid changes taking place in the jobs which ultimately affects their physical and mental health. An attempt has been made through this paper to know the reasons of stress among employees and the ways used by employees to cope with the stress generated at workplace.
