Abstract

Various social forces mold and reinforce desirable individual behavior . Can the momentary influence of a drug loosen socialized restraints, including and individual to behave in ways he would not otherwise choose? Many drug effects on behavior are mediated by neurochemical events and that relationships are reciprocal in the sense that changes in one may affect the state of the other.
