Abstract

The study is made to see the causal effect relationship of industrialisation and social cohesiveness among workers. Interview technique is used to collect the data.it is found that workers have no serious issues with the management and union is also for the name sake only. They are satisfied with the management and have no clashes as such and believe conflict is not good for the organisation .their works are mainly influenced by family and cherish the joy they had in earlier times while celebrating festivals. The organisation should deliberately celebrate various festivals irrespective of religious barriers to keep the cohesiveness among workers intact.
