COMPARISON OF FLEXIBILITY AMONG FOOTBALL AND HOCKEY PLAYERS AT SCHOOL LEVEL

Abstract

The purpose of study is to compare the Flexibility as important component of Physical Fitness Variables among the Football and Hockey players at school level. For the purpose of study we choose sample of sixty subjects and divided them in two groups of thirty each. The range of subjects was between 16 to 18 yrs. The variable was selected as Flexibility, one of the main component of Physical Fitness. The necessary data of Flexibility is measured by Sit and Reach Test (Bob Davis and Ros Bull, Physical Education and the study of Sports; John Rescoe Publication. 2000) performed by subjects, in two attempts . The collected data paired t-Test was used to find out the significant difference. 0.05 level of confidence was used to test the significance.
