Abstract

The recession in the US market and global meltdown termed as global recession have engulfed complete world economy with a varying degree of recessional impact. The global financial crisis has its origin in the US, it seems initially that it would only affect developed countries, but due to integration with the global economy, developing countries had also affected with this crisis. India has also been hit by the global meltdown; it is clearly due to India’s rapid and growing integration in to the global economy.
