Development has been a crucial factor of concern for a country like India since it’s Independence. India is categorized among the developing nations and has focused largely on setting up of infrastructure to achieve its developmental goals over the years. The study in conducted based on secondary data found after reviewing related literature and intends to being in light the consequences of land acquisition on the displaced persons life and livelihood from a human rights perspective.
