A STUDY OF HOSTILITY IN RELATION TO CERTAIN MOTIVES AND VALUE PATTERN

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among hostility motivation and value pattern in a sample of N-200 studying in senior secondary school selected from Bhiwani district of Haryana state. For the collection of necessary information investigator used Buss Durkee Hostility Scale, Allport Vernon lindzey Study of Values Scale by Kulshrestha & Srivastava (1970) Hindi Version and School Motivation Analysis Test by Amir Singh (1971) Hindi Version. The results showed that measures of hostility are high positively. Value pattern and motivation predicted general low.
