Abstract

"Bihar in conjunction with UP and MP, today, is facing acute power crisis. In our study, we have a tendency to found that these states are full of offer deficit starting from 10-17 p.c. this could prove a serious hurdle in Bihar's growth story. Industrial locations, in many instances, were established while not relevancy cost-efficient points. every state clamors for the institution of major industries within the public sector among its boundaries, and also the location selections are usually politically actuated. Bihar has registered highest rate of growth of fourteen p.c within the industrial sector throughout 9 years amount of 2004-2012 among BIMARU class states -Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and state - and even higher than the typical industrial growth at national level, aforementioned a study conducted by trade body ASSOCHAM.
