Abstract

Geographically, Indo-Pacific region covers the Eastern Coast of Africa through Indian Ocean and Western Pacific Ocean. However, there is debate still going on the demarcation of exact contours of the Indo-Pacific region, the general agreement is that it is a triangular region that connects the Indian and the Pacific Oceans. This region is identified as having Japan as its northern boundary, Australia forming the southeastern parts, and India lying at the southwestern end.
