Abstract

Juvenile offenders should not be punished and tried as adults because prison is extremely violent for young offenders. Other strategies need to be used to give their lives a right direction. This research paper brings forth the harsh repercussions of trying and punishing of juvenile delinquents as adults. The paper contains various important studies and strong evidences in support of the claim for not punishing juvenile delinquents as adults because it will only make their lives miserable instead of reforming them.
