Abstract
In our day-to-day life, we experience emotions. Sometimes, we feel very happy and sometimes we feel sad. Similarly, we experience various emotions like fear, excitement, anger, worry, irritation and embarrassment. One of the organ systems called the endocrine system causes us to experience these emotions.
The endocrine system consists of a collection of bag -like structures called glands. These glands are located at specific places inside our bodies and release chemical substances called hormones. These hormones travel inside our bodies and act like chemical messengers. Hormones play an important role in the growth and development of the body, especially during a period known 2.S adolescence.
