Abstract

The problem of identity is the main concern of Diaspora literature. As Diasporas face the crisis of two cultures.One dead for them and another alien. In this research paper a study of Jumpa Lahiri’s novel “namesake” is made to sort out the problem of second generation Diaspora Gogol Ganguli; who belongs to neither of the cultures.
