Abstract

ABSTRACT: MSRTC provides safety and good services to passengers. MSRTC faces various problems due to private sector of bus and other. This research paper helps to understand various problems of MSRTC due to several reasons like physical performance, increased taxes of government and its negative effect on MSRTC financial performance. Information is collected from last ten years i.e. from 2006-07 to 2015-16. Maharashtra Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) came into existence in 1948 and has been providing services to passengers daily during given period of time covering of Maharashtra state of India and adjoins states.
