Abstract

ABSTRACT : The road transport is one of the major revenue earning departments of the state government. The economic improvement of a country and the advancement of civilization depend on the road transport. The research paper is study of physical performance of MSRTC. The information is collected about various parameters of physical performance like fleet strength variation, fleet utilization, manpower productivity, percentage of occupancy ratio and load factor during study period i.e. from 2010-11 to 2014-15.the physical performance helps to understand problems of MSRTC and its impact on overall revenue .The data is collected from performance of state transport undertakings, published by CIRT
