Abstract
Teachers are most important component of quality education .Educational approach has undergone a drastic change since last two decades .Use of power point in class room teaching, interactive classroom environment, smart classes, online data base, on line learning materials has propelled the teachers to be more competitive in terms of domain knowledge of their subject, use of technology and good English communication skills. The purpose of this study is to find out how competitive are my teachers in translating their subjective knowledge to the students in English in comparison to the required standards.Documents are analyzed through a survey of literature and teachers are observed on a parametric scale to investigate the standards of English communication skills required for teaching in vocational colleges.
