Abstract

Industrialization is one of the most striking features of the modern civilized world. It is essential for the attainment of higher economic growth and raising the standard of living of the people. An important dimension of industrialization is the evolution of a complex pattern of inter-relations between different industries and enterprises with different sizes and product ranges. In particular, the development of Micro and Small Scale Enterprises (MSEs) and their close relationship with the large scale industrial units are essential in the process of industrialization in developing countries like India.
