Abstract

One of the emerging technologies that can provide Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) coverage, Internet access and network connectivity for both network operators and customers at minimum cost is Wireless Mesh Network (WMN). Owing to the fast growth and development of wireless technologies, WMNs are acting as Internet service Providers (ISPs). WMNs enable the users to access the Internet anywhere anytime with the help of wireless mesh routers. These routers can be used to connect WMNs with several other wireless networks such as cellular network, Wi-Fi and Wi-Media networks.
