Abstract

Aim of the present research was to measure the concept attainment ability of adolescents of Meerut zone. Concept attainment is an ability of cognition. Concept attainment is a search for identification of attributes that can be used to recognized and distinguish among different phenomenon of environment. This ability plays an important role for scholastic achievement and success in life. 100 Adolescents were selected for target group. CAT (Concept attainment test) tool was administered on the sample subjects, which was developed by Dr. Anuradha Joshi & Miss Ratanamala Arya. As a result there was a significant different between Urban and Suburban adolescent in reference of Concept attainment ability. Female and C.B.S.C Board adolescent were better than their counterparts.
