The protagonist of the novel Janaki in short Janu is a girl who is a malayali born and bought up in Delhi. Janu similar to other teenage girls fell in love with a Delhi waala boy Arjun whom she met in her tuition class.They usually roam the city under the shield of tuition class.’ Chorminar’ was the place they had selected to make their love.
